Parte della collezione Somnium, reinterpretano la solidità della colonna classica trasformandola in un segno leggero, sospeso.
La parte superiore richiama un capitello di ordine dorico. Le scanalature verticali evocano ritmo ed equilibrio.
Il fusto si allunga verso il basso, separato dal capitello e ridotto alla sua essenza: una forma sottile, scandita da linee verticali.
A unire i due elementi, un inserto rettangolare in smalto bianco madreperla richiama un piccolo frammento di marmo. Come una lastra lapidea sospesa, introduce nella colonna l’accostamento di materiali e superfici tipico dell’architettura antica. La sua luce morbida interrompe l’oro e trasforma la struttura classica in una composizione contemporanea.
